today driving home from school i got a cel so i connected the two wires in the blue connector and never got a code, i even went to a shop down the street with a scanner and they said it couldnt read the ecu or something. i know its in limp mode and it wont let the car go past 4k. i even disconnected my battery for awhile and it still didnt go off! i have a hondata system with a vafc spliced into the harness(not in use, only before hondata). i dont think that could cause the problem though. the only thing i could get was one abs code 81(cpu). anybody know what the hells going on?

 

Sounds like your hondata took a crap on you. Usually when you can't get codes but have a CEL, the ECU is fried.

 

well i went outside a few minutes ago and went to check the light on the interface box. it was solid red, then i happened to look at the cluster and the cel was gone. the box was under my carpet in the middle of the passenger floor above the glove compartment so im thinking it may have gotten pushed around by somebody sitting there. just moved it and no problems thus far
