what do you think the search feature is for? type in cel 41 and see how many things you find thats why there is ARCHIVED CONTENT for you to reference it

first of all...you can't clear a code from an OBD2 car by just unhooking the battery. U need an OBD2 code checker to clear it. And 2nd...if the cel came on...there is something wrong...sensor is bad and/or bad connection. I would suggest change the sensor and then find a local shop to clear the code.

I used to work at a shop and this is how we cleared all codes on OBD2 cars...OBD1-OBD0 u can disconnect the battery.

and "search" dicks...u acually think there will be something about clearing a code in the search engine? u told him to search because u didn't know how to help him. i'm sick of all the people being ******** on this site because someone asked a question. THIS IS A FORUM...made for asking questions and recieving answers!

You should be able to unplug the ecu for about 30~45 minutes and that should clear it. It's not like an obd-1 car where it only takes 10 seconds.
