Default CD player removal

Anyone have instructions on what I have to remove to get the stock cd player out? I tried to remove the cigarett lighter and tray. Now I'm stuck. Do I have to remove the entire center console? dont want to totally disassemble my car to do this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I removed the entire center console, and then the center dash all the way up to the bottom of the in-dash unit. It really doesn't take that long, and is really that easy. Just wait until you try to replace the front and rear speakers in your car if it's a coupe. Just be sure when you take the console out that you don't put a hole in your shift boot with the gear shifter.

Good Luck,
Jon

1) Remove center arm rest
2) Remove center console
3) Remove ash tray
4) Remove radio

The radio is screwed in from the bottom by 2 screws.
