i installed a new starter, new ICM unit, new ignition coil and yet my car still wouldn't start. i also put in a new battery. What could be the problem? My car hasn't been running for almost two months now.

 

what year? model? mods? need more info bro

 

it's a year 98 and its a fourdour gsr.

 

only mods is a field v-tech controller. its off right now. i barely use it.

 

hows your fuel? do you have fuel pressure? and are you sure you are getting a solid spark? checked your fuses?

did u check ur spark plugs n spark plug wires??? any fuel going to the fuel rail??

 

Well what happend befor your car died out, how many miles, cause from what you last said sounds like a timing belt has snapped.

it could also be ur fields vtec controller....even though it's off...it still messes up ur ecu wiring...take it out and reconnect all the wires u cutted for the fields vtec controller n try ur car.

 

Check all the wires going to your starter....
If it doesn't crank it sounds like you forgot to plug the power wire to your starter..

 

whenever i try to start my car, it sounds like its turning but slowly. Like it has no power. could it be that i'm not getting enough fuel? if so, how do i check if its getting fuel?

 

if it sounds weak n no power it could be the battery or alternator
to check fuel going through u can have a friend turn the key to the 2nd notch and u put ur ears next to the fuel rail and u should be able to hear fuel going through....just turn the key back n fourth to the 2nd notch n see if u hear any fuel going to the fuel rail
