bad axles can make your car shake too. also, bad inner and / or outer tie rod ends.

definitely do this first. they could be out of round also. go to ur local discount tire or if you know someone who can balance your wheels. once they spin that on the machine, you'll see if your tire is OOR or not.

WTF??? ahahah...

but on with your issue.what do you mean by fast? 60mph? higher lower? tire pressure comes to play, bad axles, wheel bearings. my issue with rotors is that if they are warped your car would only shake when coming to a hard stop.

Most likely a tire/balance issue.

If its your tires, it will be whether you're on the throttle or not. Visually inspect your tires for bulges etc.

If its your brakes... It will only happen when you step on the brakes...

If its your axles or your intermediate shaft bearing/support, it will only happen when you step on the throttle.

These are pretty much the only things that can cause your car to shake at speed.... Unless you have bad muffler bearings, but I would hope you've already checked that.

Really, so wheel and tire balance won't make it shake huh?

That's some things that can cause a shake, but certainly not all of them.

Once again, a joke. Come on guys.

If it shakes with the throttle open only, then 99.94% of the time it's one or both of the inner CV joints gone bad.

He actually never said with the throttle open only, just "go at a fast speed" which could mean cruising at 60mph, etc..

... i really dont know what this guy is thinking...

anyways, go to O'Reilly auto parts and get the MASTER PRO SELECT CV Axles . they're brand new axles and stay away from remanufactured axles. also, this comes with lifetime warranty
