Default Car doesn't start, please help

I have a 91 Integra LS with a B16A obdo1.

For the last 3-4 months I have been having starting problems, and I have only been able to temporarily fix the problem. The first time the car didnt start I thought it was the battery since it was an old used battery. I changed the battery and car turned right on. Then next time it didn't turn on it seemed the starter was done so I got a new one. Installed it and the car turned right on. Then about a week later the car didnt turn and it turned out to be an exposed wire. Distributer, wires, plugs all only about a year old.

Two things that is weird about my car is that I don't need to use the clutch to start the car. The other is that it has an alarm that was damaged when the broke into the car so it no longer works. Not sure if either of these things can be part of the problem.

The most recent thing that its doing is that I will go for a 15-20 mile drive and will park the car. If I go back to the car within 30mins and try to start the car it won't start. If I come back after about an hour the car starts right up. It randomly happens this way, not sure if se component is being affected by the heat in the engine.

Anybody have any suggestion on where to start looking? Please help with any info.

I will try to take off the alarm this weekend. But I feel it won't fix the problem. Is weird that if I just leave alone for a while it will start right up. I think if it was the alarm I would have the problem no matter when I start the car. I am currently waiting in my car for it to start.

I really think that it is something affected by the heat in the engine bay. Anything you guys might know that heat could affect the starting?

The only reason I think it's it is because it seems that once the engine cools down it starts right up

Please explain "I have been having starting problems"...

Do you mean it will not crank, [starter not working]?

Or do you mean it will crank, [starter works] but engine will not fire, [start and run]?

You may be right, the alarm may not be the problem, but untill you remove it and put wiring back to stock, you can not be sure.

As mentioned, [if engine cranks] you need to check to see what's missing, fuel or spark.

Fuel is normally easy enough to check for, do you hear the fuel pump priming when you turn on the ign, switch?

To test for spark, use an HEI spark tester, [$10-$15 at any car parts store] and test all cylinders. 94
