Ok so i launched my car and like a dick i missed 3rd gear and grinded that **** hard. I slow down and put it into neutral then pullover for a min. I try to put it back into 1st gear so i can leave but i cant!! My car wont go into gear and had to leave it at a friends house. Car starts fine but i cant get it to drive anywhere! PLEASE HELP ANY INFO IS GREATLY APPRECIATED. Thanks

what if you turn the car off, put it in gear, then start the car, will it move?

 

well either your throwout bearing is done, or you seriously F'd your tranny up... i'd check the clutch

 

yea in order to drive it donw the block i had to shut off the car, put it in first then start it and it drove but was hard to put into second gear. When the car is off it goes into each gear with no problems.

 

You need to buy a new clutch kit.

 

Try bleeding the clutch first if it is a hydraulic transmission. If that does not help, plan on replacing the clutch.
