be grounded to the chasis? I thought I saw some say that it connects directly to the negative post on the batt. But the connectors for my sub wires go ontop of the posts, so could I ground the engine to the chasis with one of these kits? And would it still have the normal results?

Ground to the chassis if you must. The neg terminal connects to teh chassis. Just more work for the current to flow tho.

I honestly wouldnt know the difference. But I know when I do mine..I am going to the neg terminal

Why dont you just get a bigger clamp on the terminal?

 

your chassis is your ground. you do know that the flow of electricity id negative to positive? the better a ground you have the better flow you'll get. thats why when you buy amp kits they give you a long + and a short - wire because your supposed to ground it to chassis.
