Default Can this be fixed/repaired?

The Integra that I just purchased has a flaw. It is showned below.

Basically the inlet for the screw to tighten the front bumper is broken. So it sticks out a bit. I tried messing with it, seeing if I can just push it in, but that does not seem to help. Any idea if it is possible to have that part repaired, or am I looking at a new bumper?

Hell yea, zip ties or maybe some self tapping metal screws, run them up through the bottom of the bumper and into the fender. Then take some silicone or something and cover it so it doesn't rust.

dont buy a new bumper for something like that. not even worth the trouble. I would just try and get one of those threaded clips that can slide over the sheet metal, then run a screw through that. or just do the zip tie trick.

Exactly, try alll the options that we've listed and if those don't work (and I don't see why they wouldn't) than buy a new bumper.

I would just use the correct screw but put a really large washer on it and when you tighten it, it should pull that section together because the washer head will catch some part of the bumper area that is not totally missing.

OK well you have to do something to keep it from rusting if you run a screw through it. Painting it would be best I guess, but anything would be better than leaving bare metal don't ya think?

I was able to fix it by redoing the front bumper.

My question is, what kind of screws do I use if I want to screw in the wheel well black plastics onto the sides of the front bumper?

If you use screws use something with a big head. I'd use zip ties.

There is a metal bracket/stiffener that is behind the bumper. Maybe that is bent so the bumper is being pushed out. If so, you can take the bumper off, bend the bracket into shape or get a new one. If it isnt the stiffener, you can buy the plastic tab and screw that goes into the bumper from the dealer, or be cheap like me and zip tie the bumper to the fender.

bumper reapair, its like 8 or 9 bucks at a local paint store. Then use a mixing stick tape it to the area your fixing, apply the goo,let it dry and then just sand off any left over. It will be good as new
