Default Camshaft

I just installed my camshafts and they are hard as hell to turn by hand to make them lined up nice...Is this how they are sappost to be? They are torqued down to 20ft/lbs.

Thanks guys

which engine is this? what brand camshafts?

did you use some assembly lube on the cams? you sure you didnt mix up the cam caps? are you sure the torque specs are correct?

i would say yes if you are torqued down you are turning against the pressure of the vavle springs. put a ratchet on it and i bet it will be hard then get real easy then get hard to turn again. thats cuz the lobes are pressing down on the valves
