hey can anyone tell me if the type R cams are a good buy for a GSR 01 and if the 4-1 DCsport header or the 4-2-1 DC sport header is good or is comptech better also if Magnaflow exhaust system is good can I get some in put b/c I will be very soon purchasing upgrades

search bro.... type r cams are okay for the gsr... 4-2-1 headers are okay.... get a hks exhaust system or tanabe..

we get atleast one of these a day.. over and over.. 4-2-1 header is good for mid, low end.. and 4-1 is better for high.. you should read more..and search

so are the type R cams good or okay and the magnaflow is a no go for an exhaust system and thanx for the input guys I'm just wondering b/c I will be picking up skunk 2 inake manifold and 68mm throttle body and the passwordJDM intake just trying to get some good stuff can't afford veilside parts ya know!!!

In my opinion, get the comptech header. I have it and like it. It's supposed to be bigger than the DC header which I heard is like having the stock manifold (restrictive). It's still CARB legal, but it is more expensive. You will also need to shorten up the exhaust cuz it's a bit long. I installed mine and drove to the exhaust shop open header. Then i had them fix the length problem. I think they charged me like $40 to do it.
