Err, how does tire size affect whether or not you need a camber kit?
If you're lowering more than an inch and a half I'd highly suggest at least a front kit. If you go 2" or lower you might want a reat kit as well.

What do you base this on?
The only thing you'll need is an alignment to set your toe back to factory spec. Excessive toe will wear your tires out alot faster than camber will. If you lower your car and eat up your tires its not because of the camber.

While I agree that correct toe is the most important thing. I also prefer to have as flat a contact patch as possible. I used to drive around with a bunch of negative camber, but to be honest I use the car more for running errands and commuting rather than canyon carving.
ifu do decide to get a camber kit... i recommend the skunk2 kit... love it on my ride... oh and if u ever need help on instal... i have a writeup on my website... jus ask me...

Well that's very sensible. But I personally would rather keep the stock parts wherever possible, which I know will not ever squeek or slip or anything like that, plus there's no hassle in having to adjust them.

I had Eibach sportlines (1.8) and had 2 degrees of neg camber. This is pretty bad and will eat your tires pretty fast. I use specialty products adjustable ball joints and like them alot.

Did you fix your toe after you lowered it? Or just the camber
