cam management?
Thinking of buying a 1996 integra as a auto x car. its non vtec b18b1. can i put cams in it and not manage them or am i going to need a hondata or something like that.
I did a cam in my d16z6 and managed it, but just wondering.
Thanks hondatech

Yeah you need to have it tuned to get the most out of the cams. You could gain 10-15 more hp after a tune depending on the cams. If you are new to AutoX start with the car bone stock and learn how to drive it well first. After that the first thing on your list should be upgrading the suspension first since better handling = better times. Look into a decent set of full coilovers, sway bars and strut tower bars. Next I would upgrade the brakes with better pads, rotors, SS lines and high temp brake fluid. Then a good IHE combo. Last would be cams and tuning for me for a AutoX track car.
