Default Calling all Ls's

what do u guys shift at when running 1/4 mile? considering you dont have anything major done like turbo, nos or ls/vtec.

When i was runing stock ECU i had to shift at 7500 then it would redling.
I think you should get your ECU programed. But remember the redline is there for a reason with stock cams and no head work.

i have a 98' GS and I shift right at 6900 (the tach shows about 7200, but it's a little off).

I also have Crower camshafts.

whoa you guys shift pretty high!!!! i shift at 3500-4000 that's the range of torque at where i don't get tire spin or wheel hop, but i always chirp 2nd and 3rd for some reason, but it's all good my 60ft time is between 2.1-2.3
