Cable tranny code ?
I didn't know where else to post this question. I have a few cable trannys in my garage: I have a S1, a Y1, and a I just got an A1. My question is does anyone know what gear ratios the A1 has, or which tranny it is? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I looked at http://www.knology.net/~jedikl...s.htm before I posted this. I think this is a European transmission, and have been told that it is the same as the Y1 tranny I just want to know for sure.
Thanks for the info though.

I got this from http://www.hondaswap.com in the reference materials section. Credit goes to them. The YS1 is actually only in the 92-93 Integra. 90-91 Integra's had the S1 and A1 trannies. I also think the final drive number is 4.266 on those, but I am not TOTALLY sure. Willing to sell your Y1???

i believe the only way to tell is to drive it and check the rpm's / speed. or cound the teeth on the gears...i think they have a diff count

Pretty much. The final drive is lower on the USDM compared to the JDM...crack open the case and count the teeth on the final drive maybe?
