check out g2ic.com. they have a good writeup on how to do it. someone used g3 teg parts (of course) from a junkyard, which they got for about $50.

ok heres what u have to do u need to go to http://www.hasport .com order EFB2

order the bracket things not the mounts (200$) then u will need to fab the tranny mount the one on passger side of car what i did was take the stock mount then look at your trans make a template take some steel drill holes in it from template the your gonna have to cut the old bracet off your stock mount then weld the bracket you made on to the mount (the tranny has different level in holes so you will need to put washers to make it level then bolt that up u totally disreguard the the front mount by raditor and the back mount in back of motor by intake manfolid you might have to drill outthe holes to make them bigger because the bolts are bigger on hydro trannys umm oh yea your gonna have to find a different trans ground i just did it form neg termanl on battery to bolt on tranny i used a ground strap from murrys well thats all i can think of hope it helps man

I want to run a hydro tranny as well. I did this thread a while back to gather up some info. You should also check out http://www.g2ic.com for a VERY detailed install of some 3rd gen hydro parts for the conversion.

On another note...**** S1 trannies!!! I hate mine. I may have found a good deal on a cable YS1 w/ LSD though...92-93 transmissions have a slightly beefier shaft on them, and from what I understand are a bit more reliable.

instead of using a hasport kit to convert, just convert your car to hydro. it's cheaper, everything's OEM, and you won't have to transfer another part over if you put a different tranny in.
