hey my check engine light went on and its code 23, which is that my knock sensor switch is either unplugged or not working any more. do any of u agree with that? it doesnt mean that the knock sensor is detecting any knock, rite? is this a major thing that must be fixed right away, or can i wait a while till it needs to be replaced or fixed? it came on sat. nite when i was redlining second gear and shifted into third gear. the engine still runs the same, still pulls hard and i can still hear the secondaries opening. and i dont hear any pinging at all. so n e of your opinions or past experiences would be great.

no your cel is not because it is detecting knock, although they dont just go out very often. You should be fine driving it for a while. My freinds prelude has had that code for 6 months now. The knock sensor is a biatch to change. Good Luck
