Bushing causing this? Please help!
Was wondering if you guys could help me out with this one. When I am driving the wheel shakes (really bad at highway speeds) and isnt too bad when Im going slower. It also pulls kinda bad to the right. I jacked up the car to look around, and found the bushings on the lca's (right worse) where the damper fork connects to are toast. The side that the car pulls to the damper fork had enough play to dig into the axle and make a decent groove.
My question is could this be the cause of the shaking/pulling?

If I were you I would address that problem first. Get those bushings
replaced and then take it for a drive. If you say there is alot of play I
would imagine thats part of your problem...
When I have a 'shake' problem, I make note when it happens ( accelerating?, coasting?, speed make a difference?, braking?, more noticable on certain side?).
Then I do what you did, and look at the corresponding components.
on gas -> axles
coasting -> tires, sus components
braking -> rotors
If its a vibration while coasting, I usally rotate the tires to see if the problem
moves to a different point in the car.
Then I start replacing things...

shaking at highway speeds without touching the brakes or anything is your wheel balancing. and yes, get all the bushings and damaged components fixed. theyre doing other damage other than just vibrationg your wheel.
