Default build question

not sure if this should be here or not but...

i have an LS integra with a JDM Type-R motor in it, i wanna build the motor for boost...my question is should I:

1) should i tear down the R motor and build it low compression or

2) pull the motor and trans out and sell it to buy a GSR and fully build the GSR motor for low compression

im looking for mid to low 11s but still streetable as it is still my daily driver for now...thanks

but isnt the value of the type r motor mostly in the fact its such high compression

well, you gonna build it anyway.
gsr compression ratio is 10 and the type r is 10.6
not much difference

my theory behind buying a gsr is the fact that a type r motor is worth much more than a gsr motor, so why take a motor that is worth so much and tear it apart when i can sell it and basically buy a gsr swap and pay for my build for what i sell the R motor for

you can try that but buying a gsr motor off the street isn't a good idea. most of them r beat to shiet
