I am going to buy new wheels soon. I work for Acura and can get ITR wheels at cost, however I of course have four lug wheels. I don't want to but all new spindles, calipers etc.
If I buy just the ITR hubs I was wondering if any other honda/acura rotors have the same stock diameter as the GS-R but with 5 lugs.
Maybee an older legend something I'm looking through the trash today for old rotors that are the same size.

there were no black ITR wheels

I know CR-V wheels are 5x114.3 same as ITR's, but I don't know if the spindles would fit or not. Also consider Accord V6 suspension.

 

OT: Is there any gain to having 5 lug other than looks?

i know, but i figured id try, damnit , im gonna have to haver someone make a set for me .

 

the only way i can get a deal is if the parts manager sees the parts on my car.
plus we can only get the "A" center caps not the "H" caps.

 

exactly 11" not 11.1 or anything right?
If I can find some 11" rotors with 5 lugs on some other acura I'll let everyone know.

I don't care about having the look of 5 lugs only want the wheels.

 

Real world advantages? No.

It's the brakes that accompany the ITR changeover that's beneficial, but then even a brake upgrade or fastbrakes kit would work better, and be cheaper.

 

Just re-drill your 4-lug rotors to 5-lug. You will also nee to have the center drilled out wider to accpet the larger ITR hub. (Do not do this yourself ...unless you are a machinist......have a machine shop do it...the holes must be radially equal) It's been done a hundred times here, so rest assured, it will work fine! Good luck!

 

prelude hubs and rotors, 97-00 the new lude are the same and you can use there hubs and rotors

 

The bearings are the same part # for the gsr and the type R so buy the Type R hubs and press onto your current bearings get the itr rotors and you have a 5 lug conversion.

there are not any budget ways to go 5 lug.

even with a dealer hookup.
what you do need is a salvage yard hookup, at least.
