I installed my BSQ kit with my 23mm swaybar. and everytime I take a left turn I hear a squeaking/cracking noise from the rear. Sounds like its coming from the right side of the car.

Anyone got any ideas?

 

sounds more like bushing issues. What kind are you using?

This is my first question also. Did you use the factory Type-R bushing (hard rubber) with the factory bushing or did you use the polyurthane bushings with universal bracket?

 

It was a JDM 23mm sway bar. So I used the bushings that came with it.

 

I had the same problem buy some poyleurethane grease/lube(it comes in a spray can) and spray some on all your bushings the creaking and popping dissapeared for me after that.

Generally, the stock bushings should not require any lubrication, but you can try Kelvin96GSR's suggestion and see if this solves your problem. You could also try some white lithium grease or silicone grease (I have some of this called Sil-Glyde, which you should be able to find at most autoparts stores).

Let us know what you try and if it fixes the noise.
