my driver side motor mount broke this weekend at the races in my DA with a B swap in it( the car is slammed). i was bummed to say the least. i had to drive home on the high way for about a good 10 minutes.
so heres my question:
could i have messed anything up by driving home with the broken motor mount?
if so, is it serous?

 

hmm i dont really think you could, espeically if you took it easy and all of your other mounts are in good shape. i wouldnt recommend driving hard on the car like that at all though.

 

sounds like a good time to invest in some HASPORTS ...but if you took it easy you should be alright

 

yea it should be fine.....my motor mount on the driver side CRACKEDDDDD off the block, i rode that **** for a good 2 months before i sold it to someone.

 

yea thats wat i was thinking but i jus wanted to be sure thx everyone i was thinking of coping some hasports but they dont have a set for a b series swap in a DA.. so im guessing i would just get Stock replacement mounts for a DC integra?

 

I could get you some avid motor mounts...let me know if interested.

 

I don't think you could of done any damage. I drove around w/ a broken tranny mount on my DA for close to two months. She still runs strong.

 

what are we talking about for the avid mounts?
are they used?

 

damn u could drive it with the motor mount broken? in my buddys hatch he broke his motor mount and it would let him do anything. ( put it in first and let out the clutch and give it gas it would just rev up and not go anyware). when the motor mount broke it also riped the alxe out of the sockect. maybe that was why. ether way it should be fine bro.
