Braking Problem
Here goes. I just want to solve this problem once and for all. My car simply brakes like crap. The car is a 90 DA Integra converted from ABS to NON ABS. This problem happened before the conversion so I doubt it would have anything to do with it. The pedal feels really spongy and works very low. Pedal travel will be 3/4 of the way down before the car starts to brake. I have changed my master cylinder twice now. First with a remaned one and second with a brand new Honda unit. I have bench bled the MC 3 times, and bled the car several times also following the sequence found in the manual. I have also changed the rear calipers because both boots were torn.
Now here's the interesting part. If I sit in the car with the engine off and pump the brakes the pedal, it will get hard very quickly and also stay hard at a high travel point. As soon as I start the car I end up with that shitty feeling pedal. Now could there still be air somewhere in the lines I just can't seem to get too? Or could it be a faulty booster?
Thanks
