Brake problems!

Make sure the caliper slide pins operate smoothly.
Make sure the pads aren't wedged tightly in the caliper braket. They should slide nicely.
Make sure the handbrake isn't sticking. Watch the caliper when someone applies & releases the handbrake. Maybe the handbrake return spring has lost some of it's strength? Maybe the handbrake lever (on the caliper) is sticking because of corrosion? Maybe the cable has too much drag?
