I'm looking at the Tokico Illumina RAK502-i(product number). Also looking at Skunk 2 Pros-S full coilover. These two seem to be the most reasonably priced set-up for my LS. I may just buy the Skunks at his point because of the price.

Neither. For $800, you could do Konis and GCs. The two things you described above are just slip on coilovers anyway. The Koni/GCs will most likely ride and perform better.

Remember that you won't be able to SLAM the car without seriously affecting ride quality with any of the setups mentioned above.

yeah for the price i would just go with gc/koni combo, throw some extra cash on top and get the extended top hats as well, great ride and you can get realy low, personally, i have skunk2 coilovers with tokico illumina shocks and custom extended top hats, rides good

Why so you want a full coilover rather than a sleeve type coilover? With your budget, you could get koni shocks and ground control coilovers which have been proven in many different aspects.

Yeah, i know what i'm getting into. I know it will affect the ride quality. I have had an 04 STi, 02 civic Si, 99 civic Si, and a 95 GSR. All of them were lowered except for the STi. I now own a 95 LS at the moment. This is off topic, but the GSR and the LS i have now are far and away my fav. If you know anyone interested in an STi or wrx for that matter tell them to avoid at all cost.

It's just easier in my opinion. I can get a set of Skunk 2 pro series for $630 shipped. I'm prob gonna get those. In the final stages of my decision lol.

Looking into those as well, but i think the Skunk 2 pro series coilover/strut set-up is better from what i have researched. What is your opinion?

Thank you for your post. A ton of people are saying they are too bouncy and that is my number one thing i want to avoid. I keep swaying towards the Skunks, but i don't know, my opinion may be changing.

Which one is the cheaper Kpro that will lower it max 3 to 4 inch? Of course i'm not going that low, maybe 2.5 front 2.25 rear.

Dude, you're trying to ride low and comfortable, get GC/Koni w/extended tophats for $900.

$800 without the tophats.

It will ride like a Lexus, and can go PLENTY low, I'm 3" down with plenty of room because you can drop via the coilover and you can drop via adjustable perches on the strut itself.

No offense, but your a Yankee fan. I can't be riding around on some suspension that a Yankee fan advised me to get lol. I love Arod though. He deserves to be in the Hall.

should have posted in the suspension forum. the answer is a no brainer. koni/gc, the only debate is what spring rates to order with the ground controls.

lol...you've never ridden on D2s have you? If "shitty" is in the dictionary, then a picture of D2s should accompany the definition.

ok skunk2 pro-s is whack, d2 is whack, i wouldnt go with tien basics they're not adjustable, and thats all tein offers that you can afford on your budget. If you want to buy something pre assembled listen to what everyone is saying and just buy the gc/koni set up, you wont find a better "bang for the buck"
