BPI velocity stack fitment issue (help)

Hey...i just recently ordered a bpi velocity stack with the RF1049 filter. I tried installing it today...but it seems to hit the coolant resoivor. Anyone have the same problem with this or do i have to buy a different filter....i am currently running a injen sri.. Any help will be appreciated.

btw does anyone know if the k&n RC 5138 would work..the dimensions are the same but the height is 5 inch instead of 6...i dont want to but buy it and then find out that it doesnt fit again

You will need to shorten the Injen SRI tube to allow enough room for the BPi/Filter combo.

i have the same problem. ALthought i got mine to fid but its a REALLY REALLY tight fit. Im thinking of cutting the Injen SRI arm but i really dont want to do that. I might end up purchasing another intake arm like an ebay 3" intake tube but my friend has one on his gsr and it doest sit quite well as the injen SRI arm becuase of that little arm that u bold to the engine bay.
