Default boosting automatic

well i have an 91 auto integra which is my first car, and i want to sell it and get an ls cuz i heard there better for boost because of low compression.. but my question is this:

would boosting my integra now he hard on the auto transmission? because of the TQ i'd pick up? i mean would shifts on the trans be harder since i dont have any control of them?

another quesiton is, is it better to boost an auto engine? because i also heard that on an auto car, u dont loose any pressure between shifts since its a constant drive system.. and for everyday driving, would boosting be bad on a turbo because boost build up is constant until u let of the gas.. so would i have to worry about wearing down parts faster then if it was on an automatic?

sure i could go out and buy that other 96 ls for 6k.. but then i'd be using my turbo money.. i have saved up now about 5k for a turbo setup for my teg now.. so can u guys please help me? thanx!!

All US market automatics have the LS engine. Personally, I would sell it and buy something with a manual though.

its not a good idea to boost an automatic unless you build your tranny. One of my friends boosted his auto accord and the tranny slipped a lot. Launching is gay in an auto also. he eventually did a manual swap and now his car runs strong and is a lot faster.

if you are really serious

http://www.levelten.com keeping your automatic tranny

but its a headache to swap to 5sp.

best advice is to find a 92-93 obd1 5sp stock car wich runs around
1500-3000 and sell yours good luck...
