okay i have a stock gsr motor and i was looking for some opinion on these cams. im not trying to change the valvetrain up so im looking for some mild cams that will work fine on stock compression, so far i cant decide if i should go with blox a, s2s1, or ctr. Any advice or reviews would be appreciated. And yes i have tried searching but couldnt find any info on the blox spec a's.

 

if you want mild cams why dont you just go with the ctr cams.

 

i got spec As coming this friday. and will be installed saturday. i'll let you know what i think of them

 

just got done installing them..... there ok i guess. from 1 to 10, one being poor i give it a 7 1/2 to 8

there more low end torque and vtec pulls slightly harder then the stock gsr cams

 

have you had any experience with the ctr's or sks1? how do they compare to the specs a? ive seen the specs for the ctr and spec a and looks like the spec a are jus a tid bit more aggressive the the ctr. Also what mods do you have on your car and are you running it on stock valvetrain?

 

i had ctr cams in my old b16 crx. they were pretty nice. the blox feels alittle bit better but again i have a b18c now so i really can't compare.

mods are just I/H/E, skunk2 IM, the blox As. p73 type r ecu, and other little stuff

 

how high did you have the rev limiter set at and were there any probs with the valves floating?
