battery problems? possibly the alternator? help please
what is the life expectancy of an alternator on a '95 GS-R? my car has 93k miles.
my OEM battery lasted 70k miles. i replaced it with a DieHard, which barely lasted two years. i'm on my second DieHard now, and the current still seems pretty weak. if i let the car sit for more than a day or two it takes a while to turnover.
i have a small 2-channel amp, but i've had it for years with no probs with the OEM battery.
do DieHard batteries just suck ***, or should I look into replacing the alternator?
thanks

Sounds like the battery to me or maybe there is something in your car that remains on after you turn it off that is draining your battery very slowly.
Example:
Glove compartment light or something that you don't realize is on but is always on and since the current drain by it is so weak you only see the difference after a couple of days
