Default basic motor upgrades

i just got my 95 teg ls. i wanna go all motor. what should i do to start out the upgrades. but i want to start out basic. what should i do first?

my previous car was a civic and most of my knowledge is with civics, so if anyone would want to help me and give me the heads up on stuff, i'd most appreciate it!

(okay so no turbo. scuse my ignorance )

if you dont know what to do yet, I'd start off on the suspension. A nice rear sway bar, some coilover sleeves, and some quality shocks... followed by some nice sticky tires. If you do bolt-ons and decide turbo, it's a waste of money imo.

btw you contradicted yourself. you say you want to go all motor, but you then say you are considering turbo...

Since you just got the car, enjoy it in stock form for awhile. You don't even know what it's fully capable of yet. I would upgrade the suspension first, as well. Search on the board, there are TONS of threads containing suspension setups/preferences.

Also agree w/ Suspension mods 1st, feel your car out, and then decide were to go, rushing into motor mods might upset you later when u want to do somthing specific or such and wish you didnt get that intake or that exhaust, plan out your setup and if you want all motor you cant get that turbo ...but you can definitly do the ls/vtec, and i definitly would suggest it you've got the perfect setup right now for it.. goodluck

I say suspension to. My first thing I did was I/H/E. Then suspension and you notice a much better diffrence in your overall car with suspension, plus it looks better lowered a bit. Once I lowered my car with a JDM dc header oh man stuff turned ugly I scraped that thing up every speed bump and ended up selling it. Plus I'm considering going turbo now which mean good bye intake and exhaust (need 2.5-3")
