I need to know if the guy at Advanced Auto was correct in saying that all four front ball joints are the same. I only bought two for now incase they are different. I drive a 1992 Integra GS if that helps. Thanks in advance.
of course theyre not.
lower ball joints are diffrent from the upper.
i dont think the upper can be replaced you must get the whole arm.
lowers can be pressed in and out.

Is it okay if i just replace the lower ball joints then. My dad said i would need to replace the tops also. Is it okay if i only replace the bottoms?
yes it is okay.
ive replaced both of mine since my right one broke.
its extremely dangerous to have one break while your driving especially across a turn or at highway speeds. you will end up losing control of the vehicle.
if you take it to a shop its about 100 dollars per ball joint including parts and labor.
once you get ball joints done you should get an alignment.

Cool thanks for the advice. I just did not want to have to buy the whole arm assembly. Already got the lower ball joints ordered.
