i have a 97 ls when i am shifting in high rpms or down shift at highway speeds it feels like my engine just hit the ground this only happens when i shifts, no problem when im driving around town only when i am smashing

 

look at the motor mounts then??

 

Could be loose, usually when the back mount is loose the whole car will shake upon acceleration.
