Backpressure
My friend has a 92 GS Integra...He just got APEXI N1 muffler, DC Ceramic 4-2-1 sport headers, and he got custom 3 1/4in. piping done with his stock cat still on...Do you think he has lost and back-pressure at all? and do you think with a Hi-Flow Cat he can get more power?? Thanks

Guess what.... a more free flowing exhaust reduces backpressure. So, yes, he has lost back pressure. The cat is undoubtedly the bottleneck in his system, but I doubt he'll gain a lot (more than 3-4 hp) since cats are generally not as restrictive as people think (unless they are clogged).
BTW, 3 1/4" piping is WAY overkill on a small 4 cylinder.
