Default b20 integra problems.

ok. my friend has a b20 integra with a LS tranny. it was blowing out white smoke so we was guessing that his head gasket was blown. we opened up the head, and his head gasket was blown . so we got a new head gasket, resurfaced and cleaned the head, new intake manifold gasket, new oil and oil filter. we put everything on and dubble checked it all. then started it up and it smoked as if we didnt change the head gasket. there is no check engine light. does anyone knows what could be wrong so i can help my friend.. thanks...

how long did you run the car for after you put everything back together? if there is still moisture in any part of the exhaust it will still exhale white smoke. if you ran it for awhile and it is still smoking i would double check torque specs, it's easy to get them mixed up with hybrids.

under torque and over torque will lead to a head gasket leak again....check the coolent see if there's any oil mixed in yet....or start the engine and let it run for a few minutes then look at the bottom of the oil cap, if theres white bubbles then theres water in the system again.
