Default B18C1 header on a DA

I got a DC sports 4-1 header for a 94-99 GSR. What do I need to do to make it fit on my 90' GS with a B18B1 swap?? I assume it will bolt right on, right?? Will I run into any problems putting a header made for a G3 GSR in my DA with a B18B swap?? Will it be shorter or longer than my stock 90' header?? What exactly is the difference between a vtec and non-vtec block?? Is where the header mounts the exact same??

I picked it up for a decent price so I hope my money wasnt wasted.

Default Re: B18C1 header on a DA (G2DAB18)

did you buy this on ebay? is it stainless steel???

well first off. you will probably have to cut out a little bit from the cross member. The 4-1 wont clear the cross member unless you can grind or cut out some of the metal. That is what i have heard and seen.

other than that, it should bolt up. It is supposed to be shorter, so i dont know if the hanger will match up with the one on the DA's. And you will probably have to redo your exhuast piping to match up with the header because it is shorter.

let me know how it goes when you do it because i want to do 4-1 as well.. and it will hang lower, so i hope your car is not too low.
