B18C into LS
Ok, before anyone starts bashing too hard for me posting about and old and worn out topic, I searched forum after forum trying to find specific answers but never found exactly what I was looking for so please help if you have any tips/pointers/answers. Thanks in advance.
I picked up 1995 DC4 for almost nothing and I plan on swapping over to a b18c. I will be purchasing a package that includes, engine with all accessories, manual transmission(non LSD), and ECU. Mechanically, I'm pretty well versed in the swap and I should have no problem figuring out. My main questions are concerning the wiring of VTEC and the dual butterflies that I keep reading about. I've read a few posts about the VTEC wiring where people discuss the pinning and de-pinning of the ECU. My question is if I'm switching to the VTEC ecu, what wires am I adding in to what pin positions? I realize for VTEC there is 1) a ground wire, 2) a wire for the solenoid, and 3) a wire for the VTEC pressure switch. Will I be running a wire directly from the switches and pinning them into the ECU?
2nd, What's up with the dual butterflies. I will be running a Skunk2 Pro Series
intake manifold and throttle body.
Here's a full list of parts.
B18C, with trans and ecu
Skunk2 Intake, Throttle Body, Header, Catback
Hasport Mounts
New GSR Axles
Feel free to let me know any issues that anyone doing the same swap ran into.
I would really appreciate any advice/and or links directing to me the answers I'm looking for. Thanks again.

Wiring for vtec

Running a Skunk2 manifold will not require butterfly wiring IIRC. However, you might throw a CEL for them not being there while the ECU looks for it. Not sure if there is a way around this or not.
