Default B18b+NOS???

Would it be a good Idea to run 50 shot nos to my 94 Integra RS for a cheep power high? Is anyone runing this dry system. How much WHP would I put down with it? Would be rinning I/H/E too. Would it be worth the money? Is it hard to tune? any info would be nice. Oh, would it give a GSR a run for its money?

Go ZEX and be done. You can safely run the 65 shot with stock pump.

i got nos on by b18b...i'm running about a 100shot wet right now...
but if your leaving every stock, including fuel pump...run a 50 or 55....you'll notice some whp about 30....nos is cheap and effective...when u want to go higher talk to me...zex...(easiest install)...

from what i have researched up to 75 is safe, well relitively speaking. Unless you are a moron that takes it redline and the juice keeps on coming. Get some safety goodies like RPM activated shutoff switch that kills the juice right before redline. Not a bad idea to protect yourself. That and the already meantioned fuel pressre regulator, maybe some colder plugs if shooting 75. I plan on doing this setup as soon as i dump these 17" wheels off cheap!!

You'll be fine. I'm running a 60 shot of NOS(the brand) on my B18B w/ 76,000 miles and the compression is cyl 1-> 185, cyl 2-> 187, cyl 3-> 187, cyl 4-> 183. This is on a 96 LS. My best time was w/ a 50 shot running 14.7 @ 96mph w/ a 2.2 60', but w/ a 60 shot I ran 14.8 w/ a 2.6 60' time, so w/ a good launch I should be running very low 14's:D This is w/ a huge body kit on the car....Cali type r bomb kit to be exact, and 17" Konig subzero's. I believe I weighed in at 2780 or 2820...can't remember. L8R

ok, go ahead and spray at redline and miss a shift...no better yet just tach out. Everyone has done it at one point or another. When your car tells the fuel to shut off and the nitrous is still shooting because it sinces WOT then you will have a problem. Because the nitrious will still be coming past the engine redline and fuel shut off. There is still a spark there and if you were to introduce NO2 into the cumbustion chamber it would of course combust and probably cause your valves to float or better yet....make contact with piston head surface. Either way its a bent valve or a rebuild. Hummmm, shut off the juce a few 100RPM's before fuel shut off with a 50 dollar MSD rpm acticated switch or a few hundred to fix a #uck up. Your call, but i'll play it safe.

Don't you also have to retard you timing when squeezing?

thats a big 10-4. Well at least above 70 from what i have heard. There is also a product from MSD that will take care of that as well.

I want the NOS brand 30-60 hp dry kit. If I decide to do it, I would also run a Walbro fuel pump and B & M fuel pressure regulator. I want to get the most out of the kit possible, so what else is needed? What is a good header for NOS, Im panning on just a ceramic 4-2-1 DC.

I too, also want to sell my 17s and get some 15" rota slipstreams with some good rubber. Anyone wanna buy my 17s?

Oh, will I give the vtec's in my area a run for their money? That is my main concern, Im pretty much just doing this to stay a step ahead until I can get my turbo together.

as for header get a ITR JDM 4-1 header or a DC 4-1 header...the ls integra have enough torque...its the end that kills us...with nos squeezing after 3500 will make it seem like you have vtec in your car...and get rid of those 17s...no bling bling...and btw you will be able to kill GSR left and right...(not so heavy modified GSR)....

Im not so much worried about gsrs. there arnt many in my area, more like b16 crx, and 95 prelude DOHC Vtec.

What exhuast should I run? Or does it not really mater? I was thinking either Greddy or 5 Ziggen.

yeah, ditch the rims like me. The fuel pump isnt necessary for a while until you start doing direct port injection nitrous. that small of shot you can probably run completely stock. The header really donesnt matter. Alot of people think that 4-1 is the only way to go. Also, alot alot of guy feel that JDM or nothing is the only way to go. WEll, im sure its good, but..i dont know, to each there own. Our cars fall of on the top end naturally because of how they are built. putting on a 4-1 header might help some but not tons. 4-2-1 is suppose to have the same output top end as a 4-1 but better midrange and no loss at low end. So do some research, the posibilities are literally endless.

Do what I did. I had ECU rechip by Locash to 8500 rpm limiter (SOHC!) but use a MSD 6AL with a 7600 rpm chip to cut ignition well before fuel cut.

well, your bottom end might be stronger then mine but i know im not safe in stock form above 7500. Ill just go with the MSD shut off.

BTW, do you live in cincy? If so where about, i lived there.

near fairfield.

BTW I still shift a 7000 even though limiter is at 7600.

If you are going to spray, then get a SS header, they can handle the heat better than the ceramic. if the dc sports jdm 4-1 comes in ss, get it, no doubt. comptech would be nice too

if i were you, i'd get the zex kit along with the msd items to safeguard your engine. then i'd sell that bottle to someone and get the bottle you like. that's just what i'd do though. good luck
