I currently have a B18A engine, and i have a B18B shortblock on the side, which im doing on the side.

I asked Acura, and he told me that i need to buy B18B gaskets for the shortblock, and B18A gaskets for the head. I asked him why, and he said he doesnt remember.

A couple buddies told me that, B18A and B18B are the same and the gasket kit should land under the same part#.

is that true??

 

You should be able to use any 90-01 Integra head gasket.
