i'm just trying to plan out what i want to buy next..right now i need a sir linkage for the swap. I am looking at a blox intake manifold. the ad says it fits b16, and type r heads. aren't b17a1 and b16a same the same head? will this work with my motor? will i need a tune right away?

any suggestions to do next? I'm thinking maybe ctr cams, but i want to do turbo in the future..will the blox and ctr cams work well with a turbo setup? also, i have dsm eclipse/talon turbo blue top 450cc injectors..could i, or should i possibly use these in a turbo setup? i know these are very broad questions, but i am just now finishing the swap and am ready for performance and am looking at my options. the b17a1 is in a 91 crx si, ys1 trans

also, i am looking to pick up the blox today if it fits...i'm going to try to get it for $50..slightly used..good offer? what would be a good throttle body to mate with it?

b16 and b17 have the same head, i would not buy the intake manifold, it's not going to make much of a difference. My friend has a 92 gsr with a skunk2 pro series manifold and it didn't make much difference. the ctr cams will help out a lot, and yes if you turbo, it would be perfect. i say don't get the manifold get a good header, ctr cams, 2.5 exhaust and a good tune and you will be very happy with the car.

 

for sure..i went ahead and bought the blox for $70..i have a tuned ecu for i/h/e b17a1. will I need a re-tune right away or should i be good with phearable's basemap? i want to do the cams next..how much are CTR cams? will probably need a tune after that. car has free flow exhaust cat and o2 sensor delete. also no knock.

i have the 450cc injectors from a dsm 2.0 turbo i might have to make use of soon.

what do u recommend for front suspension? mine needs to be replaced, also rear shocks lol. it has adjustable coil-overs in the rear, not sure whats up front.
