b16a2 to b18c
I'm working on buying a obd1 b18c. It comes without intake mani and no exhaust mani. So everything that is attached on a gsr block I will need to buy on my own. Will any of my b16a2 transfer over with no issue or do I need gsr parts. For example, injectors, fuel rail, fpr, fuel line, ect...
Lmk! Thx

This question is pretty complex.
The GSR intake manifold, fuel rail, fuel line, etc. etc etc. are all different. You can buy an aftermarket manifold. Then mix and match some of your B16 stuff.
Your B16 exhaust manifold will likely be too short...if it was meant for a B16.
Match your injectors to your harness clips for ease of install. OBD2 harness clips? Keep the OBD2 injectors.
Keep your B16 trans. The GSR one is terrible.

So from what i've searched the GSR and B16a2 injectors are 240cc. So they'll work.
B16a2 fuel rail - will work?
B16a2 Intake - Wont work?
B16a2 TB - Will work?
B16a2 Injectors - Will work?
B16a2 FPR - Will probably work I'm guessing because It was on a B18a when i got it.
B16a2 IACV - Will work?
B16a2 MAP - Will work?
B16a2 Fuel Line coming from the Filter - wont work?
B16a2 Throttle coolant thing(forgot name) - wont work?
If i missed anything please let me know. I'm trying to make a decision on getting the GSR or not. If i can find all the spare parts I need then I'll get it for sure.

All the sensors will work. The throttle cable/body/rail depends on if you get an aftermarket intake manifold or a stock GSR one.
The B16/ITR/LS intake manifold will not work on a GSR head.

Anyone have intake fs? I posted wtb in hm. No response for intake yet. Anyone know where else to look? Or have a link?
This is the best I could find. I'm thinking it's obd1 though. Which I'm obd2b... http://m.ebay.com/itm/201157834846?nav=SEARCH

The B16 trans has the same gearing as a US spec/97 JDM spec ITR trans.
The GSR's ratios are wack....unless you're using it on a turbo motor or swapping it onto a LS/B20.
A GSR with JUST a B16 trans would walk away from a GSR with bolt-ons. Consider that you can buy a used B16 (non LSD) trans for the same price you would sell your GSR trans for. It's just about a free mod. I don't see a downside.

I wouldnt say b16 trannys are the best... gsr gears are longer than b16 gears but shorter than a ls. I perfer gsr trannys in the end. They are good for boost and mods in general. B16's are good for all motor builds. But beware that you might be good on a 1/8 of a mile but if your racing farther the b16 tranny will top out and pass you.

Delta meaning RPM drop per gear.
Farther spacing of ratios gives you a bigger delta. Closer ratios gives you a smaller delta. Small deltas are good for low torque NA motors that make power at a very specific RPM band.

Exactly what ^^^ said. For example. When shifting gears in my GSR the car will fall out of VTEC on a few of the upshifts unless I am wrapping it completely out to redline.
isnt delta affected by gearbox ratios and not final drive then
