Default B16a into DA axle problems..

sup honda technicians,
new to this site and any help well be greatly appreciated. I picked up a 90 Acura Integra RS and dropped in a B16a into it. Car was an automatic so I ahd to convert to manual. Anyway, the problem i'm having is the driver side axle. The inner cv boot ripped and the bearings popped out when I was pulling out of the drive way. I installed a new axle today but it seems as if its still too short because the inside boot on the axle is already stretched with the wheels straight forward. I'm thinking the intermediate shaft may be the problem. It may be too short. Im using the original inter. shaft that came with the B16. Is there a difference between a B16 and a LS half shaft in length? which inter. shaft should I use? btw the B16 came out of a CRX.. thanks in advance..

My brother had problems with an old b16 intermediate shaft being too short. Switching to an ls one solved the problem.

Yes you need to get a manual transmission half shaft, auto and manual are different. Auto and manual axles are the same.

Some jdm b16's came automatic. Dont know if you bought the motor complete or just a longblock but if you bought it as a longblock, it might have been an auto b16.

I think I found the problem. Im a cheap **** so I ordered ebay motor mounts. Problem is that the engine seems to be too much towards the passenger side. I was looking at myh friends setup (same car, same setup) and his motor has has maybe bout an inch clearance on the driver side of the engine bay. mines has about 2 to 3 inch clearance. could that be the reason the driver side axles is too short??
