Default b16 problems HELP!!

hey i just got a b16 with a port and polish head and typr r cams and springs and type r intake manifold and throtle body.
i have not tune it but i have inovated motor mounts and the motor shakes and the hole car shakes too. but i know why the car would shake but would the motor shake as much. it does not shake much but it does plenty enough....
would that be cuz is not tuned. my buddy has a ls vtec that berlie turn on and not tuned yet and does not shake as much.
oh and my engine back fires sometimes not much tho. when it does its during decceleration. oh and the timing is advance 5 degrees too
any idea it the tuneing would make the engine not shake so much???
thanks

P.S.ok ok what does it mean if i take a spark plug wire and the motor does not change what so ever??!!
i took off a spark plug wire off and it did not change. i took other ones off and it wanted to die or a bad idel accured
could it be that a spark plug is bad??
or i lost compression??

Are you running on all 4 cylinders? When I had a burnt valve the motor would shake a lot while running on 3...Your car would sound like a lawn mower and run very rough, almost like a really severe exhaust leak.

do a compression test asap i had the same problems in my b18b and when i did the compression test i had 200 in the first two cylinders 195 in 3 and i had 60 in four i had the same problem you did i could take out my fourth cylinders spark plug and it wouldnt change the engine speed at all

i changed the head and it has been runnin fine ever since but do a compression test then after that if you have the same problem that i did with one cylinder really really low, then do a leak down test in that cylinder put a cap full of oil in the cylinder and do the compression test again if the compression goes up its your rings and if it stays the same its your valves, if it stays the same do a valve adjustment and do a compression test again see if that fixes it, if it doesnt you might want to look into getting another head or head gasket

you may be running on all four cylinders but if your compressions low it will sound like a subaru at low rpms

lemme know what you end up doin i ran into this problem with my car just three weeks ago so i can try and help you out as best i can
