im looking to tune my b16 with some sort of computer mod. im willing to spend a couple hundred but i dont know what to get. any advise? i've seen some on ebay that say my vtec rpm will change, the air/fuel will change and higher redline but i dont know what will fit my particular application. plus, my car doesnt idle well, it jumps from 800 to 1200 and when i hit 3000 and 4000 rpm, my exhaust gets substantially louder. i know its not the vtec cause that kicks in at 4800 but it sounds annoying.

 

first, find a reputable tuner. a person that will do the tuning, and ask him or her what program(s) they use and go from there.

your idle could be the effect of a couple causes, try checking for codes first then come back.

your exhaust could be leaking somewhere.

 

do any of you know a reliable tuner in the las vegas area?
