Default Which B16???

OK, I just bought this teg back in jan. I am away at school and it is home. I had to make a quick decision to buy it or not. I saw it once before I bought it. I liked what i saw, i knew it needed some work (new tires, ecu, timing adjusted, and other little stuff). anyways...In my recent search to get an ECU i have facts that lead me to belive that the engine that is in there isn't the one he said was in there. He said it was http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc...age&item=30003 BUT that engine has a hydrolic tranny, and takes a p30 ecu. My car has a cable tranny and the guy i bought it from keeps tellin me that i need a pr3 ecu. i haven't talked to him about this yet, but i bet if he lied once, he won't stop now. I think this engine is in the car http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc...age&item=30001 Is there any way for me to tell??? If so, what are they.
Here is a pic of the serial number on the engine block http://ciscos.topcities.com/Cars/mycarold.htm

your pic of the block didn't work. that will tell you what motor is in the car. as far as what ECU you are running, you can run the same engine off several different honda ECU's and they will run fine... just not optimally. you gotta look into **** more when you are pickin' up someone elses project like that. good luck!

you can run a obd-0 to obd-1 conversion harness and run a chipped p28.

You can do some searching in the classifieds. That would probably be your cheapest bet.
