can the teeth of an halfshaft go bad that wont let the axle all the way in.... in a dc???

 

Have you visually inspected the teeth for damage or burrs?

 

well it messed up my the teeth of my axle... cant see the teeth on the half shaft

 

The splines should not go bad by themselfs. Something had to happen to cause abnormal wear or movement in the axle.

Same with the splines on the hub end. I just went through two rebuild axles until I found one that would work.
