Default auto trans

anyone have an auto trans and making more than stock power. i was wondering how much power can they handle. i wanna do an ls build up but wanna know if the trans can take it. does anyone know of any aftermarket support for the auto trans? are the axles different then a five speed.?

i do believe the axles are diff. between a manual and auto

Axles are the same, but i think the intermediate shaft is different.

you might wanna do some research on a torque converter.....depending on what kind of power and how much you want to make...
