Default Auto shift kit?

I found this http://www.levelten.com/store/...s.htm and this http://www.levelten.com/store/...r.htm . I was just wondering if anyone has done this or know anyone who has. I don't want to switch to manual(I drive in traffic daily) so I don't want to hear about what a waste of money this is. I should be installing a JRSC within the next couple months and I wanted to know if this is a ripoff or a scam or is it the real deal?

I didn't have the whole Level 10 tranny but I had the Level 10 valvebody on my old Maxima...the shifts are a whole lot quicker, IMO its worth every penny(back then it was $700 ). Just make sure you add a tranny cooler in as well. as for the whole transmisison, my friend has the Level 10 PTS kit and TC in his turbo 92 Maxima. the PTS kit upgrades all the trannys clutches and bands and internals, the difference between the stock internals and the new Level 10 internals is night and day. IMO I'd say its a definite for a FI car w/ automatic tranny. Personally I'd just buy the PTS kit and have a local shop do your rebuild/install for you. just my $.02

So if I bought the pts kit and had someone install it that would be the same as the performance auto tranny. I know a guy who owns a shop but I'm not sure if he does tranny work. What about the torque converter? Does anyone know if it's any good? http://www.levelten.com/store/...r.htm

I'm seriously considering this for my 95 auto LS... it will still be a slush box, but a beefed up one nonetheless

well yeah its all dependent on who you know...if you know a tranny guy around your way or theres a reliable/affordable tranny shop near you than I'd order the PTS kit and have them install it, its just like a standard rebuild. if not you have to send your whole tranny to Level 10 or take it to Jersey for them to rebuild it. The torque converters are rumored to be Protorque models. Protorque is a very well known company for TCs so they are good quality. not sure about what stall speed you'd need on your Honda, but on my friends Maxima they raised the stall speed to 3400 or 3500rpm, I can't remember.
