I have an auto meter model # 2242, guage sending unit, and the wire is disconected. It looks like the vaccum line goes to where the oil pressure switch/sensor would be?? could be wrong but there is one vaccum line going to the block.

Idk what this thing does. Is this why my fuel guage flickers?? And if this is the guage sending unit how does it work at all?

This is on a obd1 gsr mostly stock except boltons and fpr

Edit: Found wire and connected it and nothings changed
