This may be dumb, but . . .

What's the difference between the ARP head studs for the b18a, and the ones for the b18c1?

I'm building my b18a up and have the chance to get some b18c head studs. I'd rather use the ARPs, but the company lists two different part numbers. I don't know how they do their numbers or if it has any significance, but it's only 1 number off.

Any help is appreciated.

 

well, i can't be certain on this..but it may be close. I had the ARP studs for the LS, and the center 2 studs are longer than the rest. Now, my buddy with an SI have ARP studs, and all of his studs are equal length. It may be that way for all VTEC heads, but I am not sure.

you cant use the studs from a VTEC head on a non-VTEC head.

there diffrent lengths and sizes.........
