Default arp head studs.

I have a 99 b18b1 and im currently doing a head gasket job. I order some arp head studs 208-4302 b18a cause i googled that b18a and b18b use the same ones. Well they are not even close to the same size of the ones that came out. have picture for reference.

Am I crazy or whats going on?

they are supposed to be like that, just use the supplied lube. i'd be worried if they were the same size. I've done 3 builds all with arp head studs/mains and rods

No need to re-torque ARP head studs as long as you properly torqued them down the first time, with the ARP lube, and following procedure.

The reason the ARP's are longer is because if they're studs, not bolts... If they were the same length as the stock bolts, there would be no room to thread the nuts on.
